WHAT IS FASCIA (AND WHY IT'S RUINING YOUR MOBILITY)
Fascia is the connective tissue that wraps around every muscle, tendon, and joint in your body. Think of it like shrink-wrap covering your muscles. When you're young and active, fascia stays hydrated and elastic. Your muscles glide smoothly inside it. You move freely.
But when you sit 6+ hours a day (like most men do), something changes:
Your fascia dehydrates and compresses. It starts sticking to your muscles. Over months and years, it hardens — like shrink-wrap that's been pulled too tight and left in the sun. Your muscles become trapped. They can't lengthen properly. They can't move through their full range.
This is why:
- Your calves feel chronically tight
- Your hamstrings never seem to loosen
- Your hip flexors feel "locked"
- Your lower back is always tense
It's not muscle tightness. It's fascial restriction.
